About Am Élie

Am Élie, a 22-year-old Sydney-based singer-songwriter and producer, blends a sonic palette of pulsing electropop beats with vulnerable storytelling in a surreal alt-pop haze. A graduate of the prestigious Talent Development Project and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, she brings a unique blend of influences to her music. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Clean Bandit and Lana Del Rey, she “occupies the middle ground with her distinctive flair which effortlessly sets her apart from her contemporaries,” as described by Amelia Vandergast (A&R Factory). TJPL news has described her sound as “pushing the boundaries of pop and dance music, while maintaining a commercial appeal that resonates with a wide audience”.

By her late teens, Am Élie had recorded her single 'Back To Back' at Sony Studios, collaborated with industry giants Philippe-Marc Anquetil (One Direction, Jessie J) and Adrian Breakspear (Pharrell Williams, Ricky Martin), and was recognised by JBL as a top 10 up-and-coming Australian artist. In 2024, she released her 'Synesthesia' series - a vibrant mix of strings, synths, and EDM beats. This 3 part narrative, particularly her song ‘Pareidolia’, received positive reviews and airplay on Triple J Unearthed, TJPL NEWS, A&R Factory, The European Indie Music Network: Formula Indie and London AFX radio. Her single 'Phantasmagoria' landed the number 1 spot on TIDAL's editorial playlist 'RISING', and was featured on Apple Music's editorial playlist 'Neu in: Pop’.
