"This song started out in early 2022 when my producer sent me a text message with 'I came as a friend but then left as a lover' and I loved it. I immediately wrote a melody and laid down some chords and then… I completely forgot about it! It wasn‘t until August 22 that I rediscovered that audio file. I fell deeply in love with an incredible woman around that time and I kind of wanted to capture these first few sparks when we met each other in a bar, made out at a party and just enjoyed life. And before I could even properly think about it my songwriting partner Lena, my producer Max and I had finished the song that you can now buy shares of. Life is sometimes crazy and unpredictable. So as said relationship sadly recently ended, I want this piece to be the memory of the greatest time of my life so far." - Jakob Wedl
