About Anacy

Anacy’s parents manifested her career in Arts & Entertainment, naming her Anacy Rose Tainton, which makes up her initials, ART. She was introduced to music, and dance at a tender age and as a child, she performed in various talent shows and singing competitions.

Moreover, Anacy took 2nd place in the Western Cape for Dance Studies. This led her to take on Dance/Drama and in Matric. Anacy decided to further pursue her passion at AFDA (Africa Film Drama Art).

Original, revolutionary, and compellingly creative: Anacy is an Indie Pop musician like no other. Anacy's, creative exploration is part of her multi-disciplinary practice spanning music, performance, acting and dance, radio. As an artist- she sketches a musical experience. The last few years have seen Anacy's attention in live performance including Cape Town Coffee Festival, Cafe Roux, Raptor R oom to name a few. Her songwriting influences include Tracy Chapman, Katie Malua, London Grammar, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Florence and the Machine, Birdy.

Net Proceeds from the commercial exploitation of the master rights and publishing rights of the recording and the song "Hot Mess" for 70 years.,Net Proceeds master rights: All incurring revenues from the exploitation of the master rights (streams, downloads, sync rights – when used for commercials or in movies) less taxes (if applicable) and less a firm distribution fee of 15%.,Net Proceeds publishing rights: All incurring revenues from the exploitation of the publishing rights (from the publisher’s share from radio plays, live performances and sync rights) less taxes (if applicable) and less a firm handling fee of 10%.,You will receive your first proceed statement from streams and downloads approx. 4 months after the release, followed by monthly statements. After that, you will be able to see your earnings on the dashboard of your account and withdraw your earnings or reinvest them in other Projects.,Revenues from publishing rights will be distributed after our receipt from the collecting societies of the different countries where the track is played on radios and TV.
